LAKELAND RIDGE SCHOOL CLUBS

LIBRARY

Student helpers coordinate with Ms. Lake to provide support in the library with a variety of tasks. It is a fun way to get involved and a great leadership opportunity.

 

MATH

Math help and corrections are available on days 1 and 3 in room 224 at lunch recess. Students can get help with current or previous concepts, complete exam corrections, or have a quiet place to work on practice questions. Should students require more time they can then arrange to come by after school. This is open for Kugler’s Math 7 and 9.

 

SCIENCE

Science help and corrections are available on days 1 and 3 in room 224 at lunch recess. Students can get help with current or previous concepts, complete exam corrections, or have a quiet place to work on practice questions. Should students require more time they can then arrange to come by after school. This is open for Kugler’s Science 8 and 9.

 

SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance)

SAGA meets Wednesdays at lunch. Listen to the morning announcements to find out the locations and dates for the Grade 5/6 and Junior High student groups. This is a safe and welcoming place where students can engage with peers in conversations, activities, and games.

 

JUNIOR HIGH BOOK CLUB

Students in Grades 7-9 read and discuss a common novel to promote a love of literature in a positive environment. The club meets on Day 4 in room 232.

 

JUNIOR HIGH INTRAMURALS

Students in Grade 7-9 can participate in intramurals over the lunch hour in the Kona gym. Information on how to sign up for the various activities is shared with students in the morning announcements.

 

GRADE 4 CARD CLUB

We are meeting to learn and play different Trading Card Games (TCG’s)

We meet on Day 4 for the lunch hour in room 143 (portables)

Currently only for Grade 4 students

DAY 3 - Dungeons and Dragons Club

Adventurers unite! Our Dungeons and Dragons club is for those interested in learning to play the iconic roll play game. This club takes place during the full lunch hour and requires consistent attendance. Junior high students are welcome to attend.
