Junior High Registration 2020-21
As we work through the final months of the 2019-20 school year we are also preparing for the next school year.
The following message was sent home today via school messenger and contains information regarding junior high registration and complementary course selection for next year. The general information package along with the grade 7, 8, and 9 registration packages are now available.
The general information document captures much of the information usually shared during our junior high information evening. Within the Junior High General Information document, you will find information on the 2020-21 timetable, junior high programming, student assessment, extracurricular opportunities, school supplies, lockers, cell phone and attendance policies, and ways to stay informed.
Within the grade 7, 8, and 9 registration document, families will find complementary course descriptions and fees and information on how to select and rank complementary course preferences. We ask that families review the registration documents with their children by reading through the complementary course descriptions and identifying and ranking their top 12 complementary course choices. The administrative team at Lakeland Ridge will do its best to accommodate students' requests. In some cases, due to lack of student interest, courses in the list may not be offered as courses require a minimum number of students to move ahead.
To select and rank complementary choices, the same online booking system used for school interviews will be used. Information on how to access this platform is included in the registration packages.
