I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Since 2014, I have worked as a School Counsellor with Elk Island Public Schools. Prior to working with Elk Island Public Schools, I taught elementary, junior high, and special education with Edmonton Public Schools. I also have experience working as a Behavioural Counsellor with Alberta Health Services and Correctional Service Canada.
My passion has always been working with children and adolescents. As a school counsellor, I support the intellectual, emotional, social and career development of all students through preventative, developmental, and crisis intervention services. My role as a school counsellor, includes counselling, child advocacy, school based consultation, coordination of services and educational programming.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and being active. I am excited to be a member of the Lakeland Ridge School community and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
